Catalyst Insurance Agency was founded in 2015 by Irida Tollkuci and Mary Hyland. Having a combined experience of over 50 years in the industry, the founders believed they could build an agency that was different in the way it approached insurance protection.

Our mission was to become an integral part of our client’s overall financial well-being; a partner with the knowledge and expertise to provide insurance solutions for what matters most.

The idea was not to continue with the “business as usual” motto and just sell insurance policies. It was to create a culture of transparency and “Collaboration through Communication” — and that is where the name “Catalyst” came from. We aspired to be the “Agent of Change”, because we quickly understood that insurance needs to be dynamic, encompassing and reflective of the everchanging personal and business challenges faced in our communities today.
